Grieving is part of any loss, there is a sort of "untangling" process that needs to take place before one is truely emotionally ready.  If he respects you and himself he will agree that time is a key factor.  Besides if the two of you are "meant to be" you have the rest of your lives,time on your side!  Women's Advocate
