I agree because only you can make yourself happy.  If you don't know what you want,no one else can make up your mind.  Sure people can help you in a decision (suggest things), but not make the decision for you.  I've learned one important in life.  That is happiness is the answer.  You need to do what ever it is to be happy.  It seems to me that you need to get rid of the husband.  He puts you down, and is cruel.  You don't need that.  Before you get with your friend you need to figure out if he is what you want.  Don't go and make the same mistake twice.
