I am a 19-year-old man and am currently engaged to an 18-year-old woman. This is my third "serious relationship".

My first two were complete tragedies, filled with lies, cheating, drugs, low-self-esteem and suicidal tendencies, the latter two on both our parts, the former two mostly on their parts.

I believe that a relationship with a partner is only a relationship if there is an open line of communication between them, with no mistrust, dishonesty, infidelity, or lack of respect or compassion for the other persons wants or desires.

I am extremely strict in my values within a serious relationship due to my previous experience with other women who were not so trusting. My youth and original experiences give me a unique insight and perception into many aspects of relationships mature and immature, healthy and unhealthy.
