My name is Hillary,
and yes I have heard enough Clinton jokes to last a lifetime.
I'm seventeen years old and am a recent highschool graduate.
I'm an athletic person, who is quite outgoing and I love to
give advice.
I'm a Sagittarius,
yet I don't believe that a sign is what makes me who I am
like many people my age and horoscope hopefuls. I'm not single
and I love being in the relationship I am in right now. I
have been with my boyfriend for ten rollercoaster months.
I really have this part of me that just loves love. A part
of me is such a hopeless romantic, I sometimes have to tell
myself to get out of the clouds and into the society's "real
relationship profile."
A relationship
is a wonderful thing when it has been trained to. I know that
sounds quite strange, yet when you find a panelist for your
personal love game show, you got to really adapt to each others
way of life. You can't completely change a person, you've
got to train them in your ways of doing things, and in return
to get to learn theirs.
Relationship work
when you work at them, and I believe that at the beginning,
any relationship has some hope, but it depends on if the trainer's
can do there stuff. I believe a fear of change and an overbearing
personality of independence is a big factor in relationships
coming to an end. If a person doesn't want any change in their
life, its up to them to decide when their ready to begin the
growing process.
People need to
remember no one is perfect, there will be problems and things
you may not agree on, but that's a part of building a strong
relationship. As one Irish proverb says, " Ceileann searc
ainimh is locht," which translates into "Love is blind to
blemishes and faults."
I believe that
my point of view would be different from the rest of the panelists
because I am of the younger generation of different situations
and issues. I have been through a lot of learning relationships
and many, many bad ones. I can help young advice seekers and
even the ones who have been around longer.
Though my age
may bring an issue of inexperience, I have seen many relationships
around me, and I have always had something to say about them,
helpful or not. I have many helpful bones in my body. Why
not put them to use! I feel I would be a great addition to
Love & Learn.
Thank you,
Hillary
