My Family History

My parents were only seventeen years old when I was born, and I was more or less raised by my grandparents in the rural area of Las Cruces, near the Rio Grande River. My grandfather is a retired farmer, as well as a twice-decorated Disabled American Veteran; he served in the 200th Coastal Artillery and was in the Bataan Death
March during WWII. My grandmother was orphaned at
the age of nine, and was raised by her older brother and sister.

My Parents

I was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico in August of 1971. I am a 29 years old Hispanic woman. I have never been married, and have never had any children. My mother and father divorced in 1982 as a result of an abusive relationship. I have tried to live with both of them at one time or another but only ever felt comfortable in my grandparent's home.

My Philosophy

I consider myself to be very open minded, and non-judgmental. I believe that each of us should strive to become "a better person", whether that involves pursuing goals of the "self" or goals for the "common good" of man. I believe that a person must love and care for themselves before they can love and care for another.

I'm Getting Married

I have yet to make the commitment of marriage or parenthood, although I am currently engaged. I have been in five serious relationships up to present and have lived with four different men. Three were boyfriends and the other gay.
