Confused Mid 30's Gal

Lefty Answers:

Dear Gal,

Ordinarily I would say, "Go tell the hunk".  The only thing holding you back would be fear of rejection.  Although fear of rejection is a horrible terrible thing (that most of us guys face daily), still, it would be far worse to miss out on this last chance at the man who can give you trembling butterflies than to face that rejection.

But that's ordinarily.  I'm not sure how reality-based you are.  You casually mention that you're going out with one of Mr. Butterflies' close friends, and wonder if that will cause complications.

Stop fooling around and give some serious advice

aliciaLtin.gif Mr. Butterflies is "gorgeous", but you had to lose 25 pounds to be in the mediocre category, not that looks should matter.

I have the feeling that no matter what I say, you'll be trying for Mr. Butterflies.  Who knows, that could be a wonderful thing.  But I suspect something less spectacular will occur.
