because I was in the same situation with a close friend
that had become more than just a friend to me.

Didn't Change Our Friendship
When I finally
worked up enough guts to tell her, she listened. She said
that if she was not already with someone that she would
have gone for me in a heartbeat. I told her how I
felt and our friendship stayed the same.
My advice
is that if you decide to ask your friend, wait until he
is single. If he is, then go for it.
