I agree. I have had several men lie to me in the past 3 years,
not all in a romantic relationship, but being lied to hurts
no matter what the relationship is. and Lefty is right some
men are trustworthy, others aren't. My best friend is a guy,
and I know I can trust him wholeheartedly. We talk about everything.
But my ex-boyfriend often made empty promises, to the point
where I'd cut him off and say "You'll make it up to me,
yeah I know".
The best way to see if you can trust a guy is not only become
friends with him first, but just be observant. Watch how he
talks about other people with you, see how often he makes
a promise and keeps it. Watching his treatment of others will
help you decide.
Men can be untrustworthy, but to be fair, so can women. We
just malnipulate instead of lie. Don't give up on them, they
can be good. :)
