Dear Panel,

 what should I do if me and my girlfriend have been going out for a year and (don't laugh) we have not kissed. everytime I get close she moves or somthing?

I don't think there is anything at all wrong with that! Call me old fashioned, but who says there needs to be kissing to make a relationship good? In fact, I have known a few couples who waited until they got married for their first kiss. They recognized that physical intimacy is very special and is not to be taken lightly or handled cheaply,

For most guys a kiss is not the MOST special moment.

Anyway, the most important factor here is determining how the two of you want to deal with kissing in your relationship. Don't worry about what others say you "should" be doing, or what the pop culture dictates is "in

If your girlfriend wants to wait, you need to be respectful of her wishes and wait until she is comfortable. I wouldn't pressure her into anything!
