I don't
think there is anything at all wrong with that! Call
me old fashioned, but who says there needs to be kissing
to make a relationship good? In fact, I have known a
few couples who waited until they got married for their
first kiss. They recognized that physical intimacy is
very special and is not to be taken lightly or handled
cheaply,
and
they wanted to save that most special moment for their
wedding night. How romantic!
Anyway, the most important factor here is determining
how the two of you want to deal with kissing in your
relationship. Don't worry about what others say you
"should" be doing, or what the pop culture
dictates is "in
."
When the time is right, you might want to bring up the
topic and decide amongst yourselves what role you want
kissing to play in your relationship. If your girlfriend
wants to wait, you need to be respectful of her wishes
and wait until she is comfortable. I wouldn't pressure
her into anything!
