Reader's Response

There is no such thing as being someone's friend (whom you have great love n' feelings for), and expect to just sit back and watch some other person come in and take them away from you. It's emotionally unsettling.

A Reader Responds:

I'm In This Situation

I agree with this so much because I am in this situation right now. I told my best friend that I wanted to have more with her two years ago, and she said she only wanted to stay friends. I made the choice to be friends with her.

The down side of it is that I've watched her like other guys and they've come and gone. I've always tried to have hope that she would look at me one day and decide to be with me, but now she's with a guy that she says she loves and she wants to marry.

It Kills Me Inside

Anonimo

Yep. When you stay friends, it's pure torture!

She likes having me around a lot so I have to watch them hold hands, hug, kiss, etc. and it kills me inside!

Mr. Cool

You don't have to act. A true friend will understand.

But the worst is having to act like it doesn't bother me!

So, I know the pain and I know how it feels, and that's why I agree.
