I agree that he shouldn't dwell on it. I'm in the same situation except that I'm the one that's not the virgin. Every since I told my boyfriend he's very intimidated by me and it gets kind of annoying.

He tries not to let it get to him, but he's brought it up on more than one occasion and I never know what to say, except the truth which is that I regret not waiting. He's so scared that when ever we're together that I'm comparing him to the other guy that I was with (note: him and I have not slept together...I want to wait this time) and it hurts me to see that something that I did before I even knew him hurts him.

But anyway....I agree that the guy should try and get over it. Just because she made the BIG mistake of not waiting doesn't mean that her first time with him wasn't special.
