I agree totally with you, Hope. I just found out that my
husband has been doing it for a year and a half and I am
sick to my stomach over it. Now he is trying to minimize
it. "The guys at work are married and they do it, it's
not THAT big of a deal" is what he says.
If It Hurts Your Mate, It's Wrong
Let's make something clear to all the men out there that
do this and/or condone it: if you are doing something that
will hurt your mate, it's wrong! Everything else aside,
you had better find out how your mate feels about this matter
before you venture off and do it.
My husband already knew how strongly I felt about it and
he did it anyways. Moreover, he had to lie and sneak around
because he KNEW how I felt. What does that say about his
commitment to me? Not much.
