Reader "Logic Girl" disagrees:
I disagree because that statement is about as logical
as saying that most sushi eaters started down that road
by eating cooked fish.
The Slippery Slope Fallacy
It is true that anyone who has eaten sushi (or raped) probably
has eaten cooked fish (looked at pornography) in the past.
But this does NOT mean that eating cooked fish (reading
pornography) LEADS to eating sushi (raping).
The fact is that many, many people eat cooked fish (look
at pornography) and have no desire to try sushi.
