Romantic Feelings Will Evolve

I disagree. I have lots of platonic relationships with girl-friends.

However, Hope, this is not an exclusive thing with women. I do agree that feelings will evolve to the romanic.

I'm a guy and I can honestly say I have KILLED two friendships because I wanted more than they did.

Exception: If They're Not Your Type

The only exception to the rule is if you truly think that the person isn't your type or has some other disqualifier (too old, too young, not attractive, whatever).

And even with those, the thought has entered my mind, obviously. Can you have a platonic relationship with someone?

I agree – that's what's happening to me right now. Depending on the situation, it can suddenly turn romantic.

Yes, but don't be surprised if later you look at them in a sideways glance and think, 'could it work?' Believe me, I've done it.
