I disagree because...One of my best friends is female. Neither of us are in relationships right now, and we talk about relationships all the time. She and I have brought up the subject of 'getting involved' and we both sincerely agree that it would not be for the best.

Speaking personally, she's a wonderful friend but I have no intentions or desires of anything more, and I know she feels the same about me. I agree that it might be a rare case, but don't lose all hope -- it can definitely happen!
