And that is what you are. This is American, not Portugal or Italy.
I am not sure what your history is so it will be difficult for me
to give an accurate answer to this question. I am going to give
you the benefit of the doubt and assume you have been a good girl
in your past.
He Knows That Men Are Pigs
A lot of people don't have a lot of friends of the opposite sex
that doesn't turn into anything more. It is not you that is the
problem. It is the GUYS. Your boyfriend knows that men are pigs
and he most likely doesn't trust them. If your boyfriend knows what
guys you are hanging out with and you include him a little more,
then he would live to accept your guy friends a little more.
You Can Hang With Whomever You Want
The thing is, if you have had innocent relationships with these
guy friends and are a big girl, which I know you are, then NOBODY
has a right to tell you to stop hanging out or socializing with
anybody.
You are your own person and have a right to hang out with whoever
you want. He isn't your mom and dad and can't tell you who to hang
out with. And this is assuming you didn't do anything to have made
him feel this way.
Delete Your Email
As far as cleaning out your email box. Wow this is a tough one.
I am trying to put myself in both of your shoes. I will tell you
one thing, I always clean my emails out.
The thing is, people are flirty by nature. Especially your guy
friends I am sure. If your boyfriend did look through your emails,
he would find something to bust your chops on. Why do that to yourself.
DELETE them I say.
The bottom line is--- He is paranoid and a little too controlling.
Does he have a reason to be? You have to ask yourself that question.
Things need to change in this relationship. Either a more trusting
relationship or an END.
