You Don't Have A Chance With Him

Yep. He's just using her as an ego boost.

I don't know any other way to say this, but you don't have a chance with this guy.

If you've worked with him for 20 years, and he's been married all this time, I think that you need to walk away from any hope of a love relationship him. I would recommend that you walk away from it.

In one of the many books I have read, one piece of advice in there was "never marry someone who's already married." In other words, don't think that someone who is already married is going to walk away from something that has been sure all this time for something that may or may not work out.

Look For Love Somewhere Else

Could it be that you're mistaking a friendship for something more? If you can make a friend of this man, that's wonderful. But I suggest that you look for love in another direction.

It might hurt, but perhaps you should keep this as strictly business relationship. Keep it in the office, and find something else outside the door.
