It's not ok
to play little mind games.
For instance, calling
900 numbers just to check that Pathetic Girl is not checking
on you. Please. I can't believe she fell for that line (so
to speak).
I see that you
are accepting the blame by saying how "capable of incredible
stupidity" you are, but what I really hear is you saying that
Pathetic Girl totally ignores her own mistakes or dismisses
them as your fault. That still seems pretty accusatory (although
not necessarily untrue) and indicates to me that there's a
whole bunch of bad feelings going around.
Why don't you
guys see if you can be "just friends" as Pathetic Girl suggested
once and see if you can succeed in that. Otherwise, I suggest
that you both cut your losses and find partners who you don't
mistrust and trade incriminations with.
And you can improve
yourself by concentrating on your child and your attempts
to stay healthy and reduce your medical problems.
