Hi, my name is
Robyn, and I'm 19 years old. I just finished high school (we
have five years of it in Ontario) and I'll be working for
a year to earn money for art school next fall. Yes, that's
right, I'm artsy-fartsy. I love to create beautiful pictures,
and I hope to make a living that way in the future.
I went to Love
& Learn for some advice on a very complicated matter,
and I really liked what I saw. The format is great... the
way you get different perspectives from several people. I'd
like to be on the panel, if you'll let me. I know I'm younger
than the other panelists, but that could be a good thing in
a way. People will get the teenager's point-of-view.
I'm pretty open-minded
about relationships and sexuality (you kind of have to be
when you're going into art), but I know the difference between
right and wrong. I see that the panelist "Hope" is Christian,
and incorporates that into some of her advice. I am Pagan,
as I find many people on the Net are, and though I may make
some brief references to Pagan topics, such as nature or feminine
power, I will never try to push my belief system on other
people. I try to respect everyone's right to believe what
they feel is right for them.
Another thing I
believe is that there's someone out there for everyone. No
one is hopeless, in other words. I don't believe in love at
first sight, though. Love is a feeling that requires time
to get to know a person. Love at first sight, no. Lust at
first sight, that's a different story.
