I am a 34 year male. I am considered attractive and am in good shape. I have a good job that I like.

I have a dilemma when it comes to dating though. I have no trouble getting women to be interested in me initially. The problem is what happens next.

Either I really don't like the woman, in which case she falls for me; or I find myself attracted to her in which case she seems to lose interest in me. I can't keep hold of the ones I like after their initial interest in me.

What is causing this?

Save me before the woman I am taking out this weekend decides to move on, cause I like her.
