Back to Mare's Answer

He stopped wanting sex. What should I do?
Mare said:

...but there are activities which your boyfriend might find acceptable that are also sexually satisfying for you.

A Reader responds:

What Mare says is very true. Having sex and being sexual are two different things.

The question is:

Were you and your partner having sex, or liked the fact that you could be sexual with someone?

The relationship seems like it is focused on having sex for a while. My question for you would be "Why?"

Was it just something that came naturally or were there any other motives behind the sexual behavior on your part or your boyfriend's part?

In any case, if the latter was your answer, the question comes once again: Can you survive without having sex and settling for sexual practices? Or was it just that time of year where...(birds and the bees theory)

Anyway...good luck.
