Gillian Answers:

Stop Blaming Others

Whoa ... First you need to settle down. And then you need to stop blaming others.

His New Girlfriend Did Nothing Wrong

Calling Paul's new girlfriend a "bitch" is not appropriate and doesn't even make sense. Look at the situation from her perspective: she met a guy and started dating him. How is that being a bitch? How is it even an insult to you? She hasn't done anything wrong at all!

I think you're just angry because she gets to date him while you had a secretive sex-only relationship.

But let's back up a bit ...

The Problem is: You Did Not Tell Him When Your Feelings Changed

The problem is that you and Paul defined the relationship one way. Then your feelings changed and you didn't tell him. I can understand your anger and frustration, but realize that you really have no grounds to be upset with Paul. It was your responsibility to tell him that your feelings had changed -- otherwise, how was he to know?

Don't Tell Him Now

It doesn't necessarily mean she's "stealing" him, if she wants to talk to him about it

I don't believe you should tell Paul about your feelings now. It's not okay to try to "steal" him back, even though you may feel like you got there first.

Be His Friend and Wait It Out

It's in the past. Why wait? She should move on and find a love

Just be his friend and wait it out if you really care for him.
