Find Someone Else!
It happens that I like to agree with best friends, and I agree
with yours. Think positively. Think positively about finding someone
else. It's pretty clear to me that your potential boyfriend isn't
really interested in you in that way.

From what you've described, it seems like he's looking around and
interested in playing the field. If he goes on a date with one of
your friends -- instead of pursuing you, I'd say he has some other
interests. That's not to say that the situation couldn't change.
It could be that he's not smart enough to know what's good for him,
or that more typically, he's only interested in something unavailable.
Go Out With Other Boys
Why not concentrate on some other boys for awhile, and see what
happens. It might be that he sees what he's missing and comes back
to you, or maybe even that you find some other guy who wants to
be with you. Either way, you're positively going to be better off.
