Dear Confused,
Having sex isn't an
easy decision to make. Whether you're a virgin or you've had sex
before, you want to be able to trust the person you're with.
You need to be open with
your feelings and let him know that you were a little uncomfortable
when you almost had sex.
My
Friend's Boyfriend Pressured Her to Have Sex
I have this friend Felicia
and she dated this guy for a couple months when he wanted to have
sex with her. Felicia is the type of person that will do anything
to keep her boyfriend happy. So she decided to have sex with him.
She wasn't aware of the emotional distress that comes along with
having sex. She wasn't even sure that she loved him.
I'm not saying you have
to be in love with a person to have sex with them, but I think there
needs to be some kind of trust and passion for the person you're
going to have sex with.
She
Regretted Having Sex
Felicia was very uncomfortable
with the decision that she made. That's only because she didn't
discuss having sex with her boyfriend beforehand.
I think that if you
love him and trust him then you will know when the right time to
have sex with him is. Don't be pressured into having sex, and if
you feel you are, then you know that that's the wrong person to
be having sex with.
Will
He Be There for You Afterwards
Make sure you know that
he will be there for you after you have sex with him and that you
feel completely comfortable with having sex with him.
