Dear Panel,

I am in love with my boyfriend but I am not happy about the amount of time we spend together, all else is perfect.

John tells me this is the first time in a long time he has been in a serious relationship.

We've been together for one year and a half, live separately, and work for the same company. I see him three evenings per week, but he thinks we spend a lot of time together.

He never wants to spend Saturday or Sunday together, because he says he has a lot to do. We do go away together, its the only time I feel we spend enough time together.

I think its normal to spend part of weekend days together and certainly more than three evenings per week.

What is the normal amount of time for couples to spend together?
