Question

Dear Panel,

I have been involved with a married man for about 10 months now. Recently his wife left him. This freaked me out completely because it's something that I never wanted. It started off as innocent flirting that kind of turned serious.

How do I handle this twist to seriousnesses in our involvement?

Dear Panel,

I am a 20 something single female, outgoing, enjoy partying, have lots of friends, people's person.

He is a 30 something, married man, father of two. Really intelligent. Gets no mental stimulation. Got married cause his wife was pregnant.

I have been involved with a married man for about 10 months now. Recently his wife left him. This freaked me out completely because it's something that I never wanted. It started off as innocent flirting that kind of turned serious.

The thing is that we just enjoy each other's company because we can talk about anything. I also get the impression that he gets absolutely no mental stimulation from his partner. We have not slept together in all the time we have been together but we have shared many intimate moments. He is getting a bit too serious about the "relationship".

How do I handle this twist to seriousnesses in our involvement?
