How do I get her back if I can't support her?

Survivor Answers:

Dear Worried in Wisconsin,

Cut and Run

My gut instinct tells me that you should cut and run while you still got your shorts. It appears the talk and how good the love WAS is not enough.

She Didn't Come to You

My gut also tells me that maybe you just don't got what it takes ( $$$$$$) for it to be enough. After all, when Dan got really weird she didn't come to you; she took clothes and went to a friend's, and she has made no attempt at contact since, even though she promised she would.

Future Plans?

Hope

The future's obvious; she has a pattern.

If she is feeling guilty and using you as the excuse, where will that leave you in the future if things get hinky again?

You might ask yourself, why would a person give up room, board and free day care to go somewhere that doesn't supply the same, as you have already stated you are unable to do. I mean, a year long lease is an important thing when you live with a guy who gets angry enough to punch holes in the wall and then tries to off himself, right.

Survivor I Was Once That Kind of Angry

Will it be her and the kids next? Don't know enough about him to say for sure, but I can tell you that years ago I used to be that kind of angry, and punched holes in the walls.

ridin' into the sunsetThe difference is that I never had a strong desire to hit my wife or child, just the walls, and that's because...... well that's a long story, too long to tell here.

My best gut feeling is:

See the sun?

Get on your horse and ride towards it.

Alone.
