You Don't Love Her

You're right -- it sounds more like infatuation

I doubt you'll like what I have to say, but you haven't talked to her so it's not possible for you to truly love her. You need to get to know her and build a relationship.

She May Not Be Anything You Want

Yes, you may love the way she looks and think she's very beautiful, but that sort of beauty is only skin deep. She might be a wonderful person inside and be everything you want and need, but then she also might not be anything you wanted and thought she would be!

Confront Her AND the Liars

Why confront them? There is not much you can do about people who spread lies.

And along the lines of what the other kids were saying, maybe you should confront the kids and ask them why they are telling lies about you, and also confront the girl and tell her that it isn't true, and just leave it up to the girl to believe who she wants to believe.

Also, slow down -- you have the rest of your life in front of you. As everyone says: "there's a lot fish in the ocean", so take your time.
