Dear in need of advice,
No..I wouldn't do that
if I were you.
That's
Incest
if you'll be living in
the same household soon, even if it is a year away and she's your
step-sister, that's basically incestous.
Easy
Access
I mean, sure youre not
blood relatives but when I think about it, it's just icky. Plus
you're young; young people who like each other shouldn't have that
much access to each other. I mean it can get really wierd if you
break up having to live in the same house and all.
Parental
Disapproval and Peer Ridiccule
Plus, your parents might
be hesitant to leave you two alone together for fear that your hormones
will get the best of you, and I believe that they won't be liking
this idea at all. Plus,
all of your friends at school will make fun of you.
You're
Supposed to Hate Her
You should stop liking
your soon-to-be step-sister. Sounds easier than done, but if you
nip it in the bud now it won't get the best of you. In fact, you're
supposed to hate your step-sister -- don't you watch sitcoms? (just
kidding)
Causing Domestic Complications
On the other hand...
if you don't like your
new step-mom to be for some reason, you know that dating her daughter
could cause a lot of difficulties between her and your father, so
if you really want to make things complicated ...go for it...but
just remember that it will also cause difficulty between your dad
and you, her mom and her and maybe you'll be wondering if it was
all worth it over a crush.
Sneaking
Around and Lying
Or...
if you don't feel guilty
about being a liar and a sneak you two can try to sneak around behind
everyone's back. Eventually if it goes on for too long, someone
will find out. But there's always the chance that you two will be
discreet enough to hide everything. But hey, that's up to you.
Does
She Have a Cute Friend?
Whatever you do, think
of the consequences. Me, I'd just leave the drama alone and
ask if your step sister has a cute friend. I like to keep
it out of the family, if you know what I mean.
