Why can't men relate to women in wheelchairs?

Survivor Answers:

Patricia,

Clue In: Men Are Pigs

Let's agree from the start that quite a few of the members of my gender are pigs. Speaking as a male you might find that quite strange, but I believe this statement to be true, and catch a lot of flak for my belief. Lots of them can't or won't cook, let the female raise the kids, don't know how to sew or wash clothes properly.

Why would you think they would think that a person handicapped such as you have described could have a good relationship with "them"?

My Wife Isn't Perfect

I am married, happily, to a woman who has several diseases, all potentially life threatening, physically she is short and plump, her looks are average, and to me she is the most sexy, beautiful and wonderful person I have ever known, because I see inside where all that comes from.

Men Are Shallow

Patra But men will only see her value if SHE sees her value.

Keep looking, there is a lock for every key. Most men look and say to themselves "nice t**s" and judge shallowly from there. Somewhere there is a man with vision who will see the real you and it won't matter a bit about anything else. Just don't give up.

By the way, I cook, clean, sew and raised my child as a single parent for a number of years. Learned a lot about respecting women from the experience.

Survivor I Used To Be a Pig

I am short, pudgy and very average and sometimes wonder what the old gal sees in me, but at least I am not the "pig" I used to be. Fortunate to find a woman with vision too. Keep it up; there IS someone out there just for you, that I make you a promise.
