Anyway, it sounds to me like your boyfriend is no longer interested, but decided to blame it on you. Although I'm not surprised, I'm very sorry that your boyfriend was unwilling to be honest with you. However, I do hope that you will learn to be angry at him for insulting you, rather than just being hurt and bewildered.

Well, yes, talking to your significant other should be different – you should be able to share everything and anything with that person.

Also, talking to you SHOULD be different than talking to his friends and family, unless he is dating them as well. A boyfriend/girlfriend relationship is unique. The conversations involved will also be unique.
