Just
Get Married Sooner
I think you have very
legitimate reasons for not wanting to move in – experience
is one of the best teachers. If you are ready to be that committed,
why don't you just get married sooner?
My girlfriend put together
a wonderful wedding in 5 1/2 months because they knew exactly when
they wanted to get married. If you are ready to make that commitment,
and he is too, just do it.
If
He's Not Ready
If he isn't, that could
be why he is putting you off with the later engagement and wedding.
Which is another reason why your instincts not to move in are good.
Whatever his reasons for wanting to wait, they are probably similar
to your reasons for not wanting to move in. It is all perfectly
legitimate and reasonable and as long as you keep the lines of communication
open should turn out OK.
