| Dear Confused,
He likes you.
He likes you not.
He
Might Like You
Hmm... The evidence you
present seems to imply that he does like you and if I had seen what
you describe I would lean to that side. But don't take my word for
it. I can't read people's minds.
Ask Him If He Likes
You
My advice would be to
maybe ask him. The direct approach is often the best, although if
caught off balance by the question, he may just deny it. I think
if you came out with your feelings first it might be easier for
him to tell you his. If the answer proves t'be undesirable,
I'm sorry.
Find
Out Your State's Age of Consent
If it doesn't however,
that would be a good thing. But that brings me to your other question.
Is it legal? The thing is, I don't know.
Laws dealing with the
age of consent and things like that are different all over. You'd
have to find that out somehow, and since you didn't supply us with
the state in which you live, I'm sorry to say I can't look it up
for you.
For now, let's say it
is legal.
Age Difference Matters When You're Not an Adult
Regarding the age difference:
He's nineteen and you're fifteen. I know that age difference while
you're in school really makes a difference and as you get older
it starts to become less of a big deal. I mean, some adults are
nearly a decade apart from their spouses.

Yes,
but so is he. |
However you are not an
adult and you still are in school.
Your
Personal Preferences
Being only eighteen myself,
I have trouble imagining your situation. The thing about this is
that you are friends from school. It is quite possible that the
age thing really doesn't matter to either of you. Like you said
you didn't even know his age before you started liking him. That
you guys seem to know each other pretty well would seem to remove
any other problems prone to starting a relationship.
It's
Up to You
I figure if
- he does like you,
and
- it is legal, and
- no sex is not a problem
for him,
then all that's left
is for you to make your decision.
Have a nice day.
Buddy
