Should I pursue my coach after I graduate?

A Guest Answers:

Dear Trackstar,

That's a hard question for me to answer.

Age Doesn't Matter

For me, I have never thought that age matters, but this depends on your own beliefs. After you graduate your relationship with your coach will definitley change.

Go For It

Do you think that it would be weird for you to be dating someone who was your coach? If your answer to this question is no, then I think you should go for it.

No "Wrong Feelings"

Judith There may be no "wrong feelings", but there ARE horrible experiences. Let me tell you what happened to me.

I think that there is no such thing as "wrong feelings", whatever you (and your coach) are feeling towards each other is totally natural. Things may change, however, when you graduate. If you go on to college then you will be meeting tons of new people, and you and your coach might find that you don't have too much in common.

Wait Until After Graduation

Foxy There will still be complications and few common interests.

I think that if you two really care about each other, then you owe it to yourselves to try it out. It's a good idea to wait until after graduation, because coach/student relationships are not a good idea. You should wait until you graduate, but then give it a try. It may work or it may not, just make sure that your relationship stays merely friendly until after
graduation. I wish the two of you luck!
