Dear Mr. Long Distance,
Making Someone Care for You Is Sad
First of all, you can't make anyone want you. That
is really sad if you think you have to make someone care for you.
She obviously is not ready to get married and needs to grow up
and find more about herself. She is not going to forget about anyone.
And this guy doesn't seem like too much of a dork if she is spending
so much time with him.
You've Lost Her
I think if she is not calling you back or responding to any emails,
then you've lost her, my brother. You need to let her be.
Grow Up
You also need to go out have some fun yourself. You are 21 anyway.
You are too young to get married.
I don't care what other panelists might say. You have a lot of
growing up to do. You do, I mean you are calling a guy a dork that
you haven't even met. I am not Mr. Maturity at all, but you definitely
aren't.
Go home, spend some time with her as a friend, and move on. She
is 17 anyway, she has a lot of growing up do. This is what you do.
You go out, have fun and enjoy college. After college when you have
started a career and no longer use the word "dork", then
you can start looking for your soulmate.
