I have a sign to look for.
I once knew that it was time to break off a relationship when I
came home after a rough day at work and he was standing in my driveway.
He had decided to surprise me by meeting me there and taking me
out.
My immediate response was not excitement at seeing him but rather,
"Oh no, I'd rather take a bubble bath."
That's a sign that this relationship is over.
