Dear Panel,
I am 15 and my birthday is coming
up soon: September 3rd.
I am dating a guy who has just
turned 20. My parents don't want me to date him.
I have been with my boyfriend for
three weeks, but my parents are going nuts and they already forbid
me from talking and seeing him at all. We are still talking, but
I call him whenever my parents aren't around.
My parents think that he is way
too old for me, but they haven't even met him yet. They don't
want to give him a chance.
What can I do to get my parents
to lighten up?
