School counselors and clergy are required to report child abuse, which may not be a step she's ready for.

Discuss it with your mom, and right now. If that does no good then discuss it with a trusted teacher or clergyman, and see what they may suggest.

Strange People Can Be Step Parents

No child should ever have to feel unsafe in her own home. There are a lot of strange people out there and just because he is your step parent doesn't make him good, kind or loving.

Move ahead and be quick about it.
