Dear Maitri,
Life Is Not a Fairytale
I wish that I could say that after a breakup, people could get
back together and live happily ever after (like a fairytale).
In real life this just doesn't seem to be the case.
There are many reasons why this seems to be:
- Why they broke up
- Personality clashes
- The most important of all: Fate
I am a strong believer in Fate, and now I bet your'e all rolling
your eyes and thinking "here we go, another wacko"!
Failed Relationships Prepare Us for Fate
Each relationship helps us learn from each other and grow, so when
we find that person we are fated to be partners in life with, we
are prepared for all the hard things. You can't go into a relationship
expecting it will all be perfect, so the the relationships we had
earlier prepare us for it.
You Can't Go Back
So in summary: No, I don't believe you can go back to an old relationship
and live happily ever after, because there is too much baggage and
sometimes bitterness.
I just think it's easier to find a newer and hotter man!!!
