Love Is a Seesaw
Love is usually an uneven seesaw ride where it is often the case
that one of the partners seems to fall harder than the other, or
at least at different times. This is not unusual. It is called "uneven
love," and this is the pattern for passion as well.
It is a bumpy ride, but it's a worthy ride nonetheless.
It's Impossible To Analyze Beforehand
It is nearly impossible to analyze beforehand what you will or
will not accept in a relationship, what you should or should not
do, why you choose the partners you do, and how to go about having
a healthy relationship.
There are hundreds of books on the subject, but the bottom line
is: you will know what you know when you know it. Love does not
take orders.
Don't Second Guess
Try to keep your heart open and do not second guess or scrutinze
too closely. For all the examination and analysis of love, it still
remains the greatest mystery and and the worthiest adventure. Jump
into the pool with both feet. Sink or swim. It is part of life,
so let yourself experience and survive it.
Oh, and one last thing. As Ms.
Davis once said:
"Fasten your seatbelts – it's going to be a bumpy
ride."
