A Reader Responds:
No One Really Knows What Love Is
I disagree. I mean, come on, who really knows what love
is? We've all had relationships fall apart. You thought
you were in love. You look back and think maybe you weren't.
But at the time, it "felt" like love. How do you
ever know?
There are Different Levels
I think people have the capacity to "love" many,
many people. There are, however, different levels of love.
Men, it has been my experience, fall in "love"
much faster than women. They also fall out of love much
more quickly.
If she's not sure and he's not sure, then what's wrong
with "loving" each other as friends? It's a win-win
situation because you're not "losing" the person.
And who knows? Eventually you both may really fall "in
love". Whatever that is.
