He Cares About Her
I disagree! As a guy who is very familiar with the conflicts
of being in a loving relationship with no sex, it's obvious
that the guy genuinely cares about her.
Perhaps in the past he's been too thick headed to realize
that he doesn't need more than her, or the he's felt too
much pressure to be like his friends, but he keeps coming
back.
He Doesn't Want To Cross Her Boundaries
The fact that he always wants somebody else around means
that doesn't want to go over any boundaries of hers. If
somebody else is there, there's no room for them to get
carried away.
He cares about her, not about sex. He certainly wants it,
and that's why there's a 3rd party there to stop it.
