Confusing Love,
It sounds like you may have started making your mind up already.
Even though Jay treats you well, it sounds like you're at the very
least dissatisfied with the difference in the way you both see the
relationship progressing.
Be Honest
In order to keep from hurting Jay, you need to be honest. It could
just be that the two of you aren't meant to be together, or aren't
meant to be together right now. Either way, Jay will be less hurt
if he knows you're not completely happy when you break it off, if
that is the course of action you end up choosing to take.
Age Isn't the Best Indication of Maturity
Unfortunately, that is a choice nobody can make but you. My initial
response would be that Corey is a little young, but I can not say
that for sure, since age isn't always the best indication of maturity.
There is definitely more to a healthy relationship than kissing
and such, but if you need that to be happy than perhaps you are
in the wrong relationship. Like I said before though, no one can
decide that for you.
Don't Do Anything Regrettable for a Kiss
Just be sure not to rush your decision, especially if you have
romantic feelings for Jay and value the relationship you have. Don't
do anything you think you might regret later, just for a kiss.
On the other hand, don't feel compelled to stay in a relationship
where you feel unfufilled, just because you don't want to hurt someone.
Bottom line: take your time and decide what you really want. Then
take action.
Best of luck!
