Why do women think I'm a joke?

Answers:

Dear Freak,

Start by making friends. My guess is that you have struggled under the pop culture assumption that the "real man" simply draws women to him like some kind of pheremone-laced bug zapper.

But the truth is, at our age (I'm 36), women are looking for men they can talk to. I presume from your entertaining message that you are someone that people can talk
to.

Find a Woman Friend

So, my advice is that you can make use of your ability to
communicate by just trying to talk to women as friends.

Karrie

Bad idea. He's needs to stop looking and focus on himslef.

They key here is finding opportunities to meet women looking for friends. Women look for friends (again, in my experience) in non-threatening places, like school classes.

Find Someone With Common Interests

Sasha

Right. But he has to choose activities where the women are!

You could enroll in extension courses that match your interests. Finding a woman that shares your interests and is looking to connect with her classmates is
already half the battle, isn't it?

So how do you make this new friendship steamy? The attraction and romance will develop with a friend of the opposite sex, particularly in the early stages. At these early stages, assuming you find each other mutually attractive you can have a conversation about your lack of experience and your feelings of freakiness.

Get Her Curious

The great thing about women is that they can be very understanding about these things. Try not to make her feel sorry for you, but rather, curious about you... You can be
enigmatic, not pathetic!! Don't go for her sympathy, go for her curiousity!!

Good luck,

- Charlie
