Dear Freak,
Everyone goes through a dry spell. It's how you deal with it that
changes your life...
Honestly, stop blaming what happened in the past for your situations
in the present. You are the only one that can change your future.
Change Your Attitude
So with that said - start by changing your attitutude towards yourself.
You look down upon yourself so much that it projects to other people
- whether you realize it or not...
My mother always told me that as long as you love yourself, than
others will love you too. A therapist can't solve your problems
until you are willing to do most of the work. You know when you
can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped?!? Well that's
you...only you're depending on a woman for happiness.
Dust Yourself Off
You seem like a great guy who's had bad experiences. Who hasn't?!?
But you need to pick yourself up and dust yourself off! Stop the
pity and go enjoy life. All the great things in life never happened
over night nor without any work. It takes time and effort to make
relationships work...
Try Something New
So once you're down with the self-pity, go and try something new.
Like a martial arts class or jogging through the park. You need
motivation to keep you happy and a relationship should contribute
to it and not be the only reason.
