I think that your husband has some issues sweetheart! There is
no reason why he shouldn't " celebrate" it! You are right.
Give a Small Gesture
Stephen, you don't have to buy her anything. It could be simply
making her a nice dinner. Its not about the cards or the candy or
the flowers. Its all just about a little gesture, that simply says
I love you.

of You Should Compromise
If you two compromise I am sure that you can come up with smooching!
Here's a suggestion. Stephen, don't buy your wife anything. Instead,
make her something like a nice dinner, a hand made card, even just
a little note saying that you love her.
It's Not About Material Things
Sondra, don't expect candy, chocolates, flowers etc. You will get
something and remember, its not just about the material things.
Follow this advice and I think you'll both be happier!
