No One Has To Put Up With It
Nobody should have to tolerate behavior like this.
It Is A Pattern
As a person who grew up with happily married parents and no abuse
anywhere in my past, to find myself at 15 in an abusive relationship
was a wake up call. One insult starts a pattern of put downs that
eventually you start to believe and one hit always leads to another.
It Will Happen Again
No matter how much he apologizes for this behavior, don't think
it won't happen again, and usually increasingly worse.
She Shouldn't Have Hit Him, Either
I do have to say that Scared should have never hit him, either,
and she probably needs to look hard at how she handles herself,
but it doesn't excuse his behavior. A man who lays a finger on a
woman is not man at all.
