Dear Scared,
You and Bob are always fighting. Dad is in prison. Dad was physically
abusive. Mom is a drug addict. Why are you with him? There is no
saving him or changing him if that is what you are doing.
He's Just Like His Dad
There are some instances where the kid can turn out fine with such
a horrible past, but it is not likely. The apple doesn't fall far
from the tree. The fact that you fight a lot should be the icing
on the cake.
Your mother shouldn't even let you out of the house.
Get Out Now
My opinion, get out now. Don't look back. If you don't, you WILL
regret it later. It is a shame that someone has to go through what
he went through, but that doesn't mean YOUR life has to be ruined.
He Is A Bad Dude
What kind of father will he be with the role model that he has
had in his life? Get the hell out and be very worried about the
incident. It IS going to escalate into something else.
Why Risk It?
Why take the chance (especially when you fight a lot)? The reason
I keep mentioning that point is that the only way I would consider
giving someone advice to stay with a guy like him, is if you said
you had the perfect relationship and that he is rising above all
of his problems.
