I completely understand what you are going through. Trust me though, the one that deserves you will understand why you've never had a boyfriend before and he won't care.

If you find somebody that you like enough to finally date, then he should be somebody special and that guy will realize that.

Tell Him How You Feel

That may scare him off. She doesn't have tell him.

Just tell him that you haven't found anyone that you've cared enough about to date, and that he is the first one that you feel that way for. That will make him feel way better than knowing you've been with a lot of other guys, because he will then feel unique and special.

Don't worry about it, because when the 'perfect' guy comes along for you, you won't have any explaining to do. He will love you for who you are and not who you've been. But make sure that you don't just date somebody because you're lonely. Make sure he is the one that was worth the wait. I know how you feel, because here I sit on Valentine's Day on the Internet.

But you know what? Every time I start to feel a tear come to my eye, or I feel the hurt in my heart, I think about when I finally meet the right person, all of these lonely times won't matter. They will be long forgotten because the only thing I will care about is that I finally have him and know he was worth the wait.

Loneliness Can Make You Strong

Right. Now's the time to let her self-confidence shine through.

So just remember, loneliness can hurt, but it also makes you strong. You know how to be independent and live life on your own. But believe me, as soon as he walks into your life, you will know it. You may not be able to have him then, but one day you will, so never lose hope or faith.
