Guess what. Not everyone is as experienced as they would
like you to believe. Most people's bragging-to-experience ratio is a bit on the exaggerated side when it comes to the bragging portion.

You're Not That Different

Please know that even when people are "experienced" with their bodies, they may not be with their hearts.

Very true. This is not an unusual situation.

Everyone is looking for someone special to help them combine the physical with the romantic and you are not that much different than the rest of your peers. I would bet good money on that.

We've All Been Fools

As far as being afraid you'll make a fool out of yourself, I don't know anyone (and I'm pretty ancient, 47-years-old) who hasn't made a fool of themselves at one time or another when it comes to matters of the heart.

It's Worth The Risk

The next time you feel those special feelings about someone, give yourself the opportunity to get to know them and don't worry too much about who is more experienced than who. When you meet the right type of person, the "experience score" not going to matter a whole heck of a lot to them anyway.

Experience Isn't Everything

Here's another little secret. Not everyone who is "experienced" is necessarily good at it! Those with little experience can oftentimes be the most passionate and sensitive partners in love. At the same time, those people with years and years of experience can be clumsy and selfish. So you see, experience is not everything.

Trust your heart and don't hide it so successfully the next time love rears it's head. It's part of living, loving and being loved. Give that gift to yourself. Even if it doesn't work out exactly the way you want it to (and whose to say it won't?), it may help give you the confidence you need the next time you jump into the romance pool with both feet.
